Ty

Ty was the runt of 11 puppies born to Sable Rose. We had to make sure he had feeding time with Mamma Rose and weigh him every day to make sure he was getting enough nourishment. He was always the quiet one of the bunch. Very mellow and kept to himself mostly. Belinda saw a picture of Ty and immediately fell in love. This is a picture of Ty at 8 months now, in the arms of his loving mom, Belinda. What a great story!

Fred
Fred

Hello there Laura! Sorry for the delay in updating you on Fred, we have been very busy. He is the most precious dog I have ever seen, very sweet and cuddly and comes to me when called, good around people and dogs, house broken, very trainable, etc.... He is very happy and is doing very well. We spent the weekend on a 100 acre farm with all types of animals and many dogs. He ran free and was very curious but always came back when called, he is exhausted and very happy! He didn't really like getting a bath once we got home but loved getting dried off and shaking afterward! We started our normal routine yesterday... Wake up, go for long walk immediately, eat breakfast together, and work on commands for about 15 minutes. Then we spend the day together, I am taking him pretty much everywhere with me. Another long walk and/ or dog park, then down time and bed. I have left him alone for short intervals without a crate and he has done great so far, hasn't gotten into trash, hasn't chewed on anything. Stay tuned for pics, will send them soon. Hope you are doing well, just wanted to let you know that Fred and I are a great match. Thanks so much!

Paddy's doing great! We finished our obedience classes last Saturday so now he's officially obedient. The trainer likes Paddy very much and thinks he would be a great service dog. He's confirming some of that with Doug's parents who are a physically a little bit fragile. While he can be a boisterous goof ball, he is intuitively very quiet and gentle with them and they, like everyone else who meets him, greatly enjoy his company. Doug's mom, who wasn't all that excited about dog kisses, now won't let Paddy leave without "washing her glasses."

We have adopted a lab mix, who is the brother of tally and buck still available for adoption. He has been great, Easily potty trained and an absolute treasure to have in our home. We have two small children and he has been so gentle with them. This has definitly been a great decision on our part. We love him very much. He is now 16 weeks old. Thank you so much for this opportunity to share of experience.

Ginger
Ginger

Ginger, who we have now named Hoosier, is doing great! Her and Griffy wrestle all day and she loves playing with the neighbors dogs :) She has been such a wonderful addition to the family. Though she is an early morning girl, she gets up on the bed to wake me up around 4 every morning, but its not too bad to wake up to :)
